Imagine you are one of those forward-thinking kind souls who values the benefits of interacting with your family across the globe through commercial intermediaries such Facebook and Instagram, yet you also remember a few lessons from your college microeconomics class and question why the economic rewards from your privacy data harvested by such companies is not shared equitably with its rightful owner. Isn’t sharing caring?
