The end of cash is getting nearer with the controls getting tighter all the time, thereby curtailing the freedom of wealth.
Besides CRS requiring bank account holders to submit their wealth sources and income tax status, now even the flow is being strangled.
Banks are increasingly becoming a part of government institutions on top of just being profit making entities. In other words, the evil has gotten more powerful and grip on wealth.
Fighting terrorism is indeed a good excuse, just like saving the country from bankruptcy. Fear mongering is indeed a most effective tool to smooth submission and obedience.
I have said this in public since four years ago and I am repeating it again with this piece of news. Told you so.
Oh but if you are not or never thought of being rich, then this post doesn’t affect you at all.
