The end game of the Internet era is PLATFORM.
Platforms like Uber, Grab, Airbnb, Alibaba and Amazon fills up our daily economic lives as a third party middleman.
These platforms take profit out of EVERY transaction that goes through it like a toll of a paid highway.
We used to be just an “user” of a platform, which is actually a product of the platforms and it’s property, positioned at the bottom of the food-chain.
These platforms sell us out as active users when they go for public listing or fund raising, and yes they pocketed the money. A new type of slavery trade.
Then some of us worship them and take out our hard earned money to buy their shares, which is buying ourselves back at a marked up price, when we gave ourselves in for FREE.
Ridiculous? You tell me.
