Influencer Marketing in the Cryptocurrency Age

Key questions asked when being introduced to a blockchain project:
Who are the founders?
Who are the core team?
Who are the advisors?

No wonder so many “drop-outs” from the corporate world with illustrious background are travelling the globe full time to speak any event and conference.
While some are truly experts in the field, most are merely talking about generally known facts in different ways, spilling out words without substance.

Newbies trying to start their own ICOs will hunt for such “influencers” (or popular faces) and pay them a hefty lot for being advisors who just appear on the project page.
Sad to say, to my knowledge most of them don’t even own cryptos themselves, much less the experience required to consult a blockchain project.

Influencers? Yeah right.
